Taste the finest from Cambodia. In exclusive cooperation with the president of the world's largest association supporting the production of Kampot pepper and his family, this incredibly soft and velvety smooth delicacy was created. Fermented pepper is completely different from other types of pepper - it is fresh and characterized by only a slight spiciness. The taste and aroma of fermented pepper are fine and gradually develop into a full pepper flavor, accompanied by aromas of flowers, citrus fruits and conifers. A great ratio of pepper and high-quality, unrefined salt guarantees a very harmonious taste and the melting of each grain directly on the tongue.
The fermented green pepper comes in recyclable packaging, in which the farmers pack it directly in Cambodia. This allows you to enjoy the unique taste of the pepper that Cambodian nature offers us without a guilty conscience.
Usage
Add fermented pepper to fine sauces and create a masterpiece that everyone you host will applaud you for. Apart from sauces, fermented green pepper also goes well with steaks and other dark meats. It perfectly seasons fish, but also pasta. Try it in salads or just eat it as it is, like capers.
About the manufacturer
Cambodian s. r. o. is a Czech company that is currently the only direct importer of genuine Kampot pepper in the Czech Republic. Through the Pepper Field project, it has been supporting small farming families in the Kampot province of Cambodia since 2018 through the fair and sustainable purchase of pepper. From the very beginning, it has been buying Kampot pepper at 100% Fairtrade prices, thus ensuring economic development not only for them, but for the entire province, which has been recognized, among others, by the President of the Kampot Pepper Promotion Association (KPPA) and the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce. It currently supports over 200 small farming families. The fact that Kampot pepper from Pepper Field achieves exceptional quality was confirmed by winning the GREAT TASTE AWARDS in London, where it won the Golden Fork trophy with its freeze-dried pepper as the only Czech producer in the history of the competition so far. For its sustainable business model, it was recognized as one of the most sustainable companies in the Czech Republic in the SDG Awards in the Business category. Pepper Field maintains high sustainability and quality standards - Kampot pepper is vacuum-packed directly on farms in Cambodia and exported to the Czech Republic as quickly as possible. Quality control and careful selection take place both in Cambodia and in the Czech Republic using special food scans. Pepper Field packaging is assembled exclusively by hand using recyclable and sustainable materials that give Kampot pepper a luxurious look and design.
