Composition

1 ml of hysan Hyaluron Spray contains 0.4 mg sodium hyaluronate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate x 2 H2O, sodium monohydrogen phosphate x 12 H2O, sodium chloride and water for injections.

Dear user, please read the following instructions for use carefully, as they contain important information on what to consider when using this medical device.

What is hyasan Hyaluron Spray used for?
This nasal spray is used to moisten and improve the cleaning of the nasal mucosa and thus facilitates nasal breathing. It is also recommended as a supportive measure for colds. The special composition of the solution based on natural substances makes this preparation particularly suitable for this purpose.

When should hyasan Hyaluron Spray be used?
It often happens that the nose loses its natural moisture and "dries out" due to special circumstances or conditions. These include not only dry indoor air, smoke, dust, wind or cold, but also as a result of a cold, the described symptoms can occur. This results in the feeling of a "dry nose", which many people find unpleasant. However, the lack of moisture also has an adverse effect on the natural cleaning function of the nasal mucosa. Using hyasan Hyaluron Spray helps to re-moisten the nasal mucosa in these cases. Unimpeded nasal breathing and cleaning of the nose are made easier.

What is special about hyasan Hyaluron Spray?

• Hyasan Hyaluron Spray contains a natural substance, hyaluronic acid. This substance has two properties that make it particularly suitable for moistening the nasal mucosa:
• It adheres very well to mucous membranes and forms a long-lasting protective film.
• In addition, hyaluronic acid has a high water-binding capacity, or more simply, it is "moisture-binding".
• Hyasan Hyaluron Spray contains no preservatives or propellants.
• Since hyaluronic acid is also a natural, endogenous substance, an unnecessary risk of allergy is avoided.

Which persons should not use hyasan Hyaluron Spray?
Please do not use hyasan Hyaluron Spray if you experience hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. itching, redness). In general, such symptoms disappear quickly after discontinuing use.

How to use hyasan Hyaluron Spray?
Only use hyasan Hyaluron Spray if the seal on the folding box was intact before first use. Remove the cap before each use. Press the pump until the solution comes out (usually 1 - 2 times). The system is then ready for use for each further application. Insert the spray nozzle into the nostril and pump once, inhaling slightly. Spray 1 - 2 puffs into each nostril several times a day as needed. For hygienic reasons, please wipe the nasal adapter after each use and close it with the protective cap.

Note on use

For hygienic reasons and to avoid possible transmission of infection, each spray should only be used by one person. For production reasons, a small amount of liquid always remains in the bottle.

What other instructions for use should be observed?

• In the event of additional other medicinal treatment with nasal spray or nasal drops, a time interval of at least 30 minutes should be observed. Hyasan Hyaluron Spray should then always be administered last.
• Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure whether and how you can combine several preparations for use in the nose.
• Due to its preservative-free nature, hyasan Hyaluron Spray is particularly well tolerated even with long-term use. You can therefore use it without hesitation for a longer period of time.
• Based on the available findings, hyasan Hyaluron Spray can be used in children as well as in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

How often and for how long can hyasan Hyaluron Spray be used?
Usually 1 to 2 puffs of hyasan Hyaluron Spray are administered into each nostril 3 times a day, but it can also be used more often. There are no restrictions on the duration of use.

How should hyasan Hyaluron Spray be stored?

• Do not store above 25°C.
• Keep hyasan Hyaluron Spray out of the reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
• Usable for 6 months after opening.
• Note the date of opening on the packaging and keep it.
