1. WHAT IS NASIC-CUR AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

nasic-cur is a nasal spray with the active ingredient dexpanthenol, a derivative of pantothenic acid, which is characterized by wound-healing and mucous membrane-protecting properties. nasic-cur is used for the supportive treatment of healing of lesions in the case of dry nasal mucosa. 2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING NASIC-CUR?

nasic-cur must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of nasic-cur.

No special precautions need to be taken.

When using nasic-cur with other medicines

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. No interactions with other medicines are known.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

There are no restrictions on use to be observed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using/taking any medicines

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

Important information about certain other ingredients of nasic-cur

nasic-cur contains benzalkonium chloride, which can irritate the nasal mucosa.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you experience discomfort when using nasic-cur.

3. HOW TO USE NASIC-CUR?

Always use nasic-cur exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and children administer 1 to 2 sprays (5 to 10 mg dexpanthenol) three to four times a day with the bottle held upright into each nostril.

Nasal application

Remove the longer protective cap. Unscrew the cap from the glass bottle and screw on the spray head. Then remove the protective cap for the spray head. Before using for the first time, pump several times until an even spray mist is emitted. Insert the spray head as vertically as possible into the nasal openings and pump 1 to 2 times each. After use, wipe the spray head for hygienic reasons and replace the protective cap. The dosing spray is ready for use immediately for all further applications. The application can take place regardless of the time of day. Do not use nasic-cur for longer than four weeks without medical or dental advice.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of nasic-cur is too strong or too weak.

If you have used more nasic-cur than you should

Overdose symptoms after using nasic-cur are not known to date.

If you have any further questions on the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, nasic-cur can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The following frequency information is used to evaluate side effects:
Very common:	more than 1 in 10 treated persons
Common:	1 to 10 in 100 treated persons
Uncommon:	1 to 10 in 1,000 treated persons
Rare:	1 to 10 in 10,000 treated persons
Very rare:	less than 1 in 10,000 treated persons
Not known:	frequency cannot be estimated from the available data.

Very rarely, intolerance reactions may occur. If side effects occur, please do not continue to use the medicine.

Reporting of side effects

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. 5. HOW TO STORE NASIC-CUR?

Keep medicine out of reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and label after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: No special storage conditions are required for this medicine. Note on shelf life after opening: The shelf life after opening the bottle is 6 months.

What nasic-cur contains

The active ingredient is: Dexpanthenol 1 ml nasic-cur contains 50 mg dexpanthenol. 1 spray of 0.1 ml contains 5.0 mg dexpanthenol. 10 g correspond to 9.9 ml solution. The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride (0.02 mg per spray), sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate Ph. Eur, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride, purified water.
