Properties

Sililevo nail polish was specially developed for brittle, weak and soft nails. The ingredients restore the nails' lost elasticity, strengthen and remineralize them. Sililevo nail polish can also improve the appearance and texture of nails affected by psoriasis.

The ingredients at a glance:

• Horsetail extract (Equisetum arvense): Of all known plants, horsetail contains the highest proportion of the important mineral silicon in the form of silicic acid. It combines with the nail keratin, mineralizes the nail and thus builds up the nail structure.
• Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): MSM is a natural form of sulfur. The hardness and elasticity of the nail keratin depend heavily on sulfur-rich fibrous proteins and sulfur-containing cross-links between the individual keratin molecules. The sulfur from MSM is absorbed by the nail keratin and strengthens the nail plate.

The hydrolac technology

The water-soluble lacquer technology is based on hydroxypropylchitosan (HPCH). The HPCH forms an invisible film on the nail. This film protects the nail plate from external influences and at the same time prevents the nail from losing moisture. The optimum water content of the nail is between 7 - 18%. If the water content is greatly reduced, it becomes brittle and fragile. The HPCH binds to the nail keratin and promotes the transport of the ingredients into the nail. The ingredients reach the nail quickly and directly, where they are needed.

Application

Sililevo nail polish should be applied once a day - preferably in the evening - to the clean and dry nail. To do this, spread the nail polish thinly on the nail surface with the brush. The nail polish dries quickly and forms an invisible protective film on the nail. Overnight, the ingredients penetrate deep into the nail. In the morning, the water-soluble lacquer is simply removed from the surface when washing. The use of nail polish remover is unnecessary. Clinical studies show that Sililevo nail polish can significantly reduce the brittleness of the nails and improve the appearance of the nails within a few weeks. To achieve very good results, the use of Sililevo nail polish as a cure for at least 3 months is recommended. Long-term use as part of nail care helps to maintain beautiful nails.

Composition

Equisetum arvense (horsetail), methylsulfonylmethane, hydroxypropylchitosan, ethanol, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, purified water.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not apply to wounds. Do not ingest. Flammable. Close bottle immediately after use. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Sililevo nail polish. Keep out of reach of children!

Nail care tips:

• Nails should be filed short and straight to avoid splitting. Always file in one direction, preferably from the outside to the inside, and avoid filing back and forth.
• Never file your fingernails directly after bathing, as a swollen nail can tear more easily.
• Always dry your hands and feet thoroughly after washing. If possible, apply cream to your hands and fingernails after each wash.
• When working with water and chemicals, you should wear household gloves - preferably with cotton undergloves.
• Since nail polish remover stresses the nails, you should not constantly paint your nails. If you do not use nail polish, you can use polishing files to create a shiny nail surface.
