Please read the entire package leaflet carefully as it contains important information for you. This medicine is available without a prescription. However, to achieve the best possible treatment results, Homviotensin must be used as directed.

1. WHAT IS HOMVIOTENSIN AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Homviotensin is a homeopathic medicine for cardiovascular disease.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: blood pressure disorders.

Note

In case of persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms, especially in case of dizziness, headaches, restlessness, shortness of breath, palpitations or pain in the heart region, a doctor should be consulted, as these may be conditions that require medical clarification.

2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING HOMVIOTENSIN

Homviotensin must not be taken:

• By alcoholics.
• Due to the alcohol content, Homviotensin should only be used by people with liver disease, epileptics and people with organic brain disease after consulting a doctor.
• By children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Special care must be taken when taking Homviotensin

• This medicine contains 54% alcohol by volume.
• The maximum daily dose according to the dosage instructions is 0.2 g of alcohol.
• A health risk exists, among other things, for people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, brain disease or brain damage, as well as for pregnant women, children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
• The effect of other medicines may be impaired or enhanced.

When taking Homviotensin with other medicines

No interactions with other medicines have been reported for Homviotensin to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

When taking Homviotensin with food and drink

General

Note

The effect of a homeopathic medicine can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and intoxicants.

3. HOW TO TAKE HOMVIOTENSIN

Always take Homviotensin exactly as described in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed:

• Adults take 5 drops 1 - 3 times a day.
• When symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

How to take Homviotensin

To improve effectiveness, the drops should be left undiluted in the mouth for about a minute. They can also be taken on a piece of sugar or bread or with a sip of water, which should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible.

How long should you take Homviotensin

Even homeopathic medicines should not be taken for long periods of time without medical advice.

If you have taken more Homviotensin than you should

Taking larger amounts of the medicine can lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in children; in this case, there is a risk to life, which is why a doctor should be consulted immediately. If the entire contents of a 100 / 50 ml bottle are taken, up to 43 / 21.5 g of alcohol are ingested.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Gastrointestinal complaints or allergic reactions (e.g. skin rash) may occur. These symptoms usually subside within a few days after discontinuing the medicine.

Note

When taking a homeopathic medicine, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.

5. HOW TO STORE HOMVIOTENSIN

Keep out of reach of children. Natural products may occasionally show slight cloudiness or flocculation. The expiry date is printed on the outer packaging and the label of the bottle ("Usable until"). Do not use this pack after this date.

Never dispose of medicines via wastewater (e.g. not via the toilet or sink). Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine if you no longer use it. You thus help to protect the environment. Further information can be found at www.bfarm.de/arzneimittelentsorgung.
