Ingredients

Sodium hyaluronate 1 mg/ml, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate, chlorides (potassium, calcium, magnesium), sodium hydrogen carbonate, purified water.

Areas of application

For moistening the surface of the eye in case of wetting disorders (such as dry, irritated or burning eyes) and for the relief and treatment of irritation caused by external influences (such as dry or air-conditioned environments, smoke, dust, pollen) and after surgical procedures. Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% can also be used with hard or soft contact lenses. Compatible with contact lenses.

Contraindications

Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Notes:

• Please note that your vision may be temporarily impaired immediately after instillation.
• Do not use Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% if the bottle is damaged.
• Do not use Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% at the same time as other preparations for use on the eye, as this may alter the effect of the preparations. If other eye drops/ointments are used, a time interval of approximately 30 minutes should generally be maintained between the applications of the different products.
• Please avoid touching the surface of the eye or other objects with the tip of the dropper to avoid external contamination.
• In very rare cases, corneal calcifications have been reported in connection with the use of eye drops with increased phosphate concentration in patients with severely damaged corneas. Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% contain only the physiological phosphate concentration, so that their applicability is not generally restricted even in the case of existing more severe corneal disorders/damage. If additional eye drop preparations are used, their phosphate content should be taken into account in this context, as increased phosphate concentrations may be contained in antiglaucoma or antiallergic agents in particular.

Application tips

Instill Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% onto the surface of the eye or into the conjunctival sac.

• It is recommended to apply with previously thoroughly cleaned hands.
• Remove the tamper-evident seal before first use.
• Remove the cap before each use.
• Tilt your head back slightly.
• Hold the bottle upside down (vertically) over the respective eye.
• Gently open the eye with the thumb and forefinger of the free hand or pull the lower eyelid down slightly.
• By gently pressing the bottle, 1 drop is instilled onto the surface of the eye or into the conjunctival sac.
• Repeat the application in the other eye - Carefully replace the cap immediately after each use.

Dosage

Tears Again Eye Drops 0.1% can be used as needed. In general, it is recommended to use up to 4 times a day.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in very rare cases. The preparation should then no longer be used.

Information on shelf life and storage

Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Can be used for 6 months after opening. Do not use after the expiry date.
