What is Cerustop Ear Oil Spray?
Cerustop Ear Oil Spray is used to remove excess or hardened earwax (cerumen) to prevent inflammation of the external auditory canal.

What does Cerustop Ear Oil Spray contain?
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Paraffin Oil, Isostearyl Isostearate, Almond Oil, PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, BHA/BHT, Vitamin E.

What are the properties of Cerustop Ear Oil Spray?
Cerustop Ear Oil Spray is sprayed into the external auditory canal, penetrates the earwax and makes it more soluble and therefore easy to remove. Hardened earwax impairs hearing and can lead to inflammation in the external auditory canal. It should therefore be removed regularly. Cerustop Ear Oil Spray is also suitable for hearing aid wearers. Cerustop Ear Oil Spray can also be used before ear irrigation by the doctor.

What is Cerustop Ear Oil Spray used for?

• To dissolve and remove excess or hardened earwax.
• To prevent inflammation of the external auditory canal.
• To clean the auricle and external auditory canal.

There are no concerns about use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Cerustop Ear Oil Spray is suitable for use in adults and children aged 3 years and over.

Dosage and type of application

How should you use Cerustop Ear Oil Spray?
To remove excess or hardened earwax, it is recommended to spray 2 - 3 sprays of lukewarm Cerustop Ear Oil into the external auditory canal in adults and 1 - 2 sprays in children. To prevent the ear oil from running out, close the ear with a small cotton ball, but the ball should only be inserted loosely and never pressed into the ear canal. After about 10 minutes, gently rinse the ear with warm water - if possible with a hand shower. In case of severe hardening, it is recommended to repeat the procedure. For additional cleaning of the auricle, spray a few sprays of lukewarm Cerustop Ear Oil onto a cotton ball and remove any adhering earwax, dirt and skin flakes by wiping the auricle several times. Wipe with a dry cloth. After rinsing with water, we recommend using Normison ear drops to dry quickly and restore the natural acid mantle of the skin of the external auditory canal.

When should you not use Cerustop Ear Oil Spray?

• If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any ingredient in the product.
• In case of inflamed ear canal and perforated eardrum (hole in the eardrum).

Special warnings for safe use

Cerustop Ear Oil Spray is not a medicine. If you have earache or heavily adhering earwax plugs, you should definitely seek medical help! If the eardrum/middle ear is damaged, please talk to your doctor before using Cerustop Ear Oil Spray. Do not insert any foreign objects (e.g. cotton swabs) into the ear canal! Keep the bottle closed at all times and out of reach of children!

Storage instructions

Do not store below 8°C and not above 25°C.

Pack size

10 ml bottle with spray attachment. 1 spray = 0.1 ml.

Shelf life

36 months. Do not use for more than 8 weeks after first use.
