Herbal eye drops
Eye drops for moistening stressed or irritated eyes with valuable herbal ingredients fulfil the desire of many patients for natural, well-tolerated, low-side-effect medical devices. The properties of camomile, blueberry and eyebright have been known in naturopathy for centuries. We make use of this knowledge for our moistening solutions.

Eyebright (Euphrasia)
The German name eyebright indicates its centuries-long use as an eye remedy. Eyebright was already used in the Middle Ages in the form of rinses, eye baths and compresses. For this purpose, the flowering herb is harvested without roots and dried. The active ingredients are aucubin and other iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, tannins and bitter substances. Euphrasia is effective for conjunctivitis and irritation of the eyelid margins, but it also provides relief for watery eyes.

For better moistening of the eyes, especially when wearing hard and soft contact lenses.

Preservative-free solution for moistening and wetting the eyes with 0.05% eyebright tincture, manufactured according to HAB 2000, and with the body's own wetting substance sodium hyaluronate.

Herba-Vision Augentrost sine eye drops bring relief and soothe irritated or dry eyes caused by wearing contact lenses, tiredness, staying in smoky rooms, prolonged computer work or exposure to general environmental influences such as dust particles, pollen, etc. Herba-Vision Augentrost sine can also be used while wearing contact lenses. Not suitable for storing contact lenses!

Composition

1 ml isotonic buffer solution contains
0.5 mg sodium hyaluronate
0.5 mg eyebright tincture (HAB 2000)
2.5 mg HPMC (Methocel)

Application

Wash and dry hands before use. Before opening for the first time, check whether the ampoule is intact to ensure sterility of the contents. To open, twist off the top of the ampoule and use the contents immediately. If necessary, instil 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye and distribute by blinking. Be careful not to touch the eye with the ampoule.

Notes

Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Precautions

Do not ingest solution. Do not use the ampoule if it is damaged. Dispose of the ampoule immediately after use. To avoid eye infections, do not reuse an already opened ampoule. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip. For single use only. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a specialist/specialist.
