Meditonsin drops are a homeopathic medicine for colds. Area of application: The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicinal product images. These include: Acute inflammations of the throat, nose and throat. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.
2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING MEDITONSIN DROPS?
Meditonsin drops must not be taken:
- if you are allergic to Aconitinum D5, Atropinum sulfuricum D5 or Mercurius cyanatus D8.
- if you are an alcoholic (Meditonsin drops contain 6% alcohol by volume).
Warnings and Precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Meditonsin drops. There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicine in infants under 7 months of age. It should therefore not be used in this patient group. In infants aged 7 to 12 months, Meditonsin drops should only be used after consulting a doctor. Meditonsin drops have no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.3. HOW TO TAKE MEDITONSIN DROPS?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- For adults and children and adolescents aged 12 years and over: In acute conditions, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over take 5 drops every half to whole hour, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.
- For infants from 7 months to 1 year: Take 1 drop up to 4 times a day after consulting a doctor.
- For children from 1 year: Take 1 drop up to 6 times a day.
- For children aged 6–12 years: Take 1–2 drops up to 6 times a day (maximum 11 drops per day).
Type of application
The drops should be taken undiluted and left in the mouth for a while. The intake is independent of meals.Duration of use

After using Meditonsin drops, salivation may occur; the product should then be discontinued. Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. itching and rash) may occur. In this case, the medicine should be discontinued. Note: When taking homeopathic medicines, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor. Shelf life after opening: Do not use Meditonsin drops for more than 6 months after opening and do not store above 25°C. Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
