What is Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment?
Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment is a preservative-free, white, translucent, soft ointment, free of foreign bodies in a multi-dose system for night-time relief of dry eyes. The pack contains 5 g of sterile eye ointment.

When is it used?
Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment provides strong, soothing relief at night for dry eyes, as it acts as a barrier against moisture loss. Ideal for use before going to bed. Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment provides soothing relief from dry eye symptoms such as burning, irritation or a gritty feeling. Dry eye symptoms occur due to disturbances of the eye surface. These can have various causes, if the normal tears are of poor quality or if tear production is too low to keep the eye sufficiently moist. There is no age restriction for the use of Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment.

Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Type of application

Apply a thin, approximately 1 cm long strip of ointment to each eye as needed. Before using a new tube of Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment, please check the safety ring for its integrity.

If you are unsure how to use Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment, or if your eye problems persist, contact your doctor, pharmacist or optician.

Warnings and precautions:

• Do not use if the safety ring is damaged.
• Do not use if you are allergic to wool wax alcohols or any of the other ingredients.
• Do not use with contact lenses.
• Do not share Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment with another person.
• Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment may cause temporary mild burning and/or blurred vision after application. Wait until you can see clearly again before driving a vehicle or operating machinery.
• Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton or tube fold.
• Store between 1°C and 25°C.
• Discard contents 60 days after opening.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• For external use on the eye only, do not swallow.
• Dispose of the opened tube in accordance with local disposal regulations.

Tube with 5 g of sterile eye ointment.

Ingredients

Xailin Night Moisturising Eye Ointment contains white petrolatum 573 mg/g, liquid paraffin 425 mg/g and wool wax alcohols 2 mg/g, which form a transparent, lubricating, moisture-binding film on the surface of the eye.
