Aurum/Lavandula comp., cream
Active ingredients: Aurum metallicum praeparatum D4, lavender oil and rose blossom extract

Dear patient, please read the entire package leaflet carefully before you start using this medicine, as it contains important information for you. This medicine is also available without a doctor's prescription. However, in order to achieve the best possible treatment success, Aurum/Lavandula comp. must be used as prescribed.

1. WHAT IS AURUM/LAVANDULA COMP. AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Aurum/Lavandula comp. is an anthroposophic medicine for diseases of the cardiovascular system. Areas of application: According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, areas of application include vegetative cardiovascular disorders, palpitations and anxiety.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING AURUM/LAVANDULA COMP.?

Aurum/Lavandula comp. must not be used:

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to lavender oil or any of the other ingredients,
• in infants and toddlers under 2 years of age (risk of laryngospasm).

Precautions for use

In case of pain in the heart region, which may radiate to the arms, upper abdomen or neck, or in case of shortness of breath, medical clarification is mandatory. For all persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms, please consult a doctor. Aurum/Lavandula comp. should not be applied to wounds or inflamed skin areas.

Children

Aurum/Lavandula comp. should not be used in children aged 2 - 3 years, as there is insufficient documented experience.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any medicines during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Interactions with other medicines

None known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

3. HOW IS AURUM/LAVANDULA COMP. USED?

Always use Aurum/Lavandula comp. exactly as directed by your doctor. Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over should rub a 2-3 cm long strip of cream into the skin in the heart region 1-2 times a day (in the evening and, if necessary, in the morning). In children aged 3-11 years, a 0.5-1 cm long strip of cream is rubbed into the skin in the heart region 1-2 times a day.

Duration of use

The treatment of a subacute condition should be completed after two weeks. If no improvement occurs within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

If you forget to use Aurum/Lavandula comp.

Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten application.

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how to use this medicine.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

In appropriately sensitised patients, lavender oil can trigger hypersensitivity reactions (including shortness of breath).

5. WHAT ELSE IS IMPORTANT?

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the tube and the folding box. Storage conditions: Do not store above 25°C.

Composition

10 g contain: Active ingredients: Aurum metallicum praeparatum Dil. D4 (D4 prepared with purified water) 1 g/Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.03 g/Aetheroleum extractum e floribus recentibus Rosae damascenae et centifoliae (flower to extract approx. 500:1) 0.03 g. Cream base: Liquid paraffin, Protegin WX (yellow vaseline, ceresine, hydrogenated castor oil, glycerol monostearate, polyglycerol-3-oleate), yellow vaseline, purified water.

Dosage form and pack sizes

25 g and 70 g cream.
