Description

Vit-A-Vision is a preservative-free eye ointment, which contains vaseline, liquid paraffin, wool wax, cetyl stearyl alcohol and purified water in addition to vitamin A, vitamin E and dexpanthenol.

Vit-A-Vision is used for the long-lasting improvement of the tear film and for the intensive protection of the eye surface. Its cell-protective properties enable normal re-epithelialization, if this is impaired by dryness. Due to its very soft and smooth consistency, Vit-A-Vision can be distributed very well on the eye surface. The ointment is characterized by particularly good compatibility, especially due to the vitamin A it contains, a natural component of the tear film. Vit-A-Vision relieves symptoms such as burning, dryness or tiredness of the eyes. The eyelids glide smoothly over the cornea and conjunctiva. Dexpanthenol, which is converted to pantothenic acid in the body, belongs to the B vitamins. Dexpanthenol increases the water-binding capacity, it is well absorbed by the skin and has nourishing properties.

Vit-A-Vision provides long-lasting relief from the symptoms of dryness, irritation and minor irritations, in particular:

• in case of environmental stress, e.g. due to air conditioning, wind or air pollution, for example due to cigarette smoke or
• in case of tiredness and visual stress due to intensive vision, e.g. on computer screens, microscopes or long car journeys or
• in case of mechanical stress, e.g. due to wearing hard or soft contact lenses or due to diagnostic interventions on the eye.

Application

Vit-A-Vision is usually used 3 times a day for the long-lasting improvement of the tear film and for the intensive protection of the eye surface. It is particularly recommended to use it in the evening before going to bed, so that the ointment can develop an intensive long-lasting effect on the irritated eye. Unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head slightly back, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye. Apply a 0.5 cm long strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac by gently squeezing the tube. Close your eyes slowly. Close the tube carefully after use. It should be used continuously for more than 30 days.

Package size

One tube contains 5 g of eye ointment.

Precautions and warnings

Blurred vision may occur temporarily after use; in this case, do not drive a vehicle, operate machinery and wait until normal visual acuity has returned. Do not use in case of eye infections and/or existing hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. Please contact your ophthalmologist if the irritations and discomfort persist. Vit-A-Vision should not be used while wearing contact lenses. If other eye preparations are used in addition to Vit-A-Vision, there should be a sufficient time interval of approx. 30 minutes between the application of Vit-A-Vision and the other eye preparations. In this case, use Vit-A-Vision after administering the other eye preparations. Do not touch the eye or facial skin with the tip of the tube to avoid infections or injuries to the eye. Bending or rolling up the tube should be avoided in order not to damage the tube.

Storage

Store at room temperature. Do not use after the expiry date. Can be used for 3 months after opening. Keep Vit-A-Vision out of reach of children.
