Active ingredients: aniseed, lime flowers, thyme

1. WHAT IS SIDROGA BIO KINDER-HUSTENTEE AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee is a herbal medicine for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee is used for symptoms of bronchitis and for relief of irritation in the case of catarrh of the upper respiratory tract with dry cough.

2. What do you need to consider before taking Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee?

Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee must not be taken if your child is hypersensitive (allergic) to aniseed (anethole), lime flowers or thyme.

Special care must be taken when taking Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee if the symptoms worsen or persist for more than 7 days. In this case, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

When taking Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee with other medicines

Interactions with other medicines have not been reported to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking/using or has recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

There are no adequate studies on the use of Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Therefore, taking Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.

Driving and operating machinery

No special precautions are required.

3. HOW TO TAKE SIDROGA BIO KINDER-HUSTENTEE?

Always use Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the child should drink a cup of the freshly prepared tea infusion several times a day, depending on their age: Children aged 1-4: 2 to 3 times a day. Children aged 4-10: 3 to 4 times a day. Children aged 10 and over: several times a day.

Preparation

1 Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee filter bag is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), covered and left to infuse for about 10 minutes, then the filter bag is removed.

Do not use Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee without medical advice if the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or recur periodically. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee is too strong or too weak. If a larger amount of Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee has been administered than described and symptoms occur due to the higher dosage, please inform your doctor. They can decide on any necessary measures.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects

Occasionally (in less than 1 in 100 but in more than 1 in 1000 patients): allergic reactions of the skin, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

5. HOW TO STORE SIDROGA BIO KINDER-HUSTENTEE?

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the sachet/folding box after 'Use by'. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Please store the medicine in its original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture.

What Sidroga Bio Kinder-Hustentee contains

The active ingredients are: aniseed, lime flowers, thyme. 1 filter bag (1.5 g) contains 0.6 g aniseed, 0.6 g lime flowers, 0.3 g thyme.
