Composition

The medical mouthwash Glandomed (500 ml) contains Macrogol 300, Macrogol 1500, sodium hydrogen carbonate, saccharin sodium, sodium edetate, chlorhexidine digluconate, orange flavour and water.

Areas of application

For gentle, mild and thorough cleaning of the mouth, especially in the case of oral mucositis (inflammation of the oral mucosa) of any genesis.

Contraindications

None known to date.

Side effects

In rare cases, allergic reactions and tooth discolouration may occur. Interactions with other agents None have been observed to date.

Dosage instructions and type of application

Glandomed is a ready-to-use, medical mouthwash and is used undiluted. After eating and before going to bed, the mouth is carefully rinsed with approx. 20 ml Glandomed (measuring cup on the screw cap). Glandomed should be moved back and forth in the mouth for 2 minutes and then spat out. Do not rinse with water and do not eat or drink for 15 minutes. Glandomed can also be used more often if necessary. In the case of mucositis or xerostomia (dry mouth due to reduced saliva production), it is advisable to clean the mouth with Glandomed every 2 hours if possible and before going to bed (as described above).

Notes

Glandomed cleans the oral mucosa, gums and teeth. This medically thorough cleaning reduces plaque formation and infections in the mouth and can thus alleviate the symptoms of oral mucositis. Glandomed is particularly well tolerated in the case of sensitive oral mucosa or oral mucositis, as it does not contain any alcohol or irritating ingredients. The specially mild ingredients (macrogols) of Glandomed wet the oral mucosa very intensively and dissolve coatings and crusts during rinsing.

Keep out of reach of children! Close the bottle after use. If particles/crystals are visibly present in the Glandomed solution, the solution should not be used. Store at room temperature (not below 15°C) and protect from light (sunlight). The expiry date is printed on the folding box and the label.
