1. WHAT IS STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR?

The plant extracts contained in Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior create a physical protective film on the mucous membranes with their mucilages, which relieves the coughing irritation. Stilaxx is a herbal cough suppressant for children to treat dry, irritating coughs. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is herbal, as well as alcohol-free and sugar-free.

2. WHAT IS CONTAINED IN STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR?

10 ml Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior contains:

• 0.5 g Icelandic moss fluid extract
• 0.5 g marshmallow root fluid extract
• 0.25 g liquorice root fluid extract

Other ingredients are

Maltitol solution, potassium sorbate, xanthan, natural raspberry flavour. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is free from artificial colours and flavours, lactose and gluten.

3. WHAT IS STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR USED FOR?

The ingredients of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior act like a balm over the mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx, so that the irritated mucous membrane is protected and can recover more quickly due to the irritation-relieving effect of the mucilages. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is used for irritating coughs and associated irritation of the mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx, such as coughing and sore throat. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior gets its irritation-relieving effect from the natural plant extracts of Icelandic moss, marshmallow root and liquorice root. The 3-fold complex of the Iceland formula quickly and lastingly relieves the coughing irritation. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is very well suited for daytime, but also for night-time. Due to the irritation-relieving effect of the mucilages, it ensures a peaceful and restful sleep.

4. HOW IS STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR TO BE USED?

Always use Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior in accordance with these instructions for use. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Toddlers from 1 to 3 years	5 ml Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior twice a day
Children from 4 to 9 years	10 ml Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior twice a day
Adolescents from 10 to 17 years	10 ml Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior three times a day

For adults from 18 years of age, Stilaxx Cough Suppressant for adults is recommended. There is no experience with the use of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior in infants under 12 months of age, therefore it should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Type of use

Please use the enclosed measuring cup to take Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior. It is recommended to take Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior in the morning, (at noon) and in the evening. For optimal moistening of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, allow it to dissolve in the mouth for about 30 seconds and then swallow. Please shake the bottle before using Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior.

Joint use with other agents

The joint use with other products, such as herbal and chemical cold remedies or homeopathic remedies, is possible. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any medication (even if you have bought it yourself).

Duration of use

Regular intake of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is crucial for a sustainable treatment success. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior can also be used over a longer period of time if necessary due to its good tolerability. In general, the duration of treatment should be at least 5 days. For a sustainable treatment success, it is advisable to continue treatment with Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior for a few more days even after the irritating cough has subsided.

5. WHAT UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

In sensitive individuals, gastrointestinal complaints, such as mild flatulence, may rarely occur. Due to the sugar-free maltitol solution, a laxative effect may occur if too large amounts are taken. No other undesirable effects are known to date. If you nevertheless observe any undesirable effects, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

6. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR?

Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from any illnesses or allergies. If the symptoms do not improve or even worsen after 2 weeks at the latest, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist. Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior contains high-quality plant extracts. Due to these natural ingredients, slight cloudiness and minor changes in taste may occasionally occur. However, this has no influence on the high quality and the effect of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior.

7. HOW SHOULD STILAXX COUGH SUPPRESSANT JUNIOR BE STORED AND HOW LONG CAN IT BE KEPT?

The expiry date of Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is printed on the packaging. Do not use this product after the stated expiry date. After opening, the product should be used within 4 weeks.

Storage instructions
Do not store Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior above 25°C! Keep the product out of reach of children.
