Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut is a herbal remedy for urinary tract infections. Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut is used internally for drainage in case of existing or post-injury oedemas, in case of kidney gravel and for flushing the urinary tract. Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut is used externally for the supportive treatment of poorly healing wounds.
2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING SIDROGA SCHACHTELHALMKRAUT?
Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut must not be taken,
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to Schachtelhalmkraut.
- if you suffer from water retention (oedemas) due to impaired heart or kidney function. In this case, a flushing therapy is not indicated.
When taking Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut with other medicines
Interactions with other medicines have not been reported to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.Children

Internal use
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, drink one cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows 3 times a day.Preparation
One filter bag of Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), left to infuse for about 10 to 15 minutes and the filter bag is removed. Note: When using internally, always ensure that you drink enough fluids.External use
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, 10 g of Schachtelhalmkraut, corresponding to 5 filter bags, are used to prepare compresses with 1 litre of boiling water and applied after cooling. Do not take Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut without medical advice if the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or recur periodically. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut is too strong or too weak.If you have taken a larger amount of Sidroga Schachtelhalmkraut than you should and you notice symptoms due to the higher dosage, please inform your doctor.
