What are Olynth Salin Drops?
Olynth Salin Drops are an isotonic saline solution (0.9%) for instillation into the nose. One bottle contains 10 ml of solution. The solution contains the preservative benzalkonium chloride.

What are Olynth Salin Drops used for?
These nasal drops are used to moisten and improve the cleansing of the nasal mucosa and thus facilitate nasal breathing. Even in the case of a cold and other ailments in which the symptoms of a "blocked" nose occur due to excessive mucus formation, relief of nasal breathing can be achieved by liquefying the "thick" mucus. Olynth Salin Drops are also suitable for babies and toddlers.

When should you use Olynth Salin Drops?
The isotonic saline solution (0.9%) Olynth Salin Drops is used:

• for supportive treatment of nasal congestion.
• for cleaning and moistening the nasal mucosa.

What should you consider before using Olynth Salin Drops?
If you are known to be hypersensitive to the preservative benzalkonium chloride, you should not use Olynth Salin Drops. Olynth Salin Drops contain benzalkonium chloride, which can irritate the nasal mucosa. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you experience discomfort when using Olynth Salin Drops. The preservative benzalkonium chloride can cause hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, itching or swelling of the skin and mucous membranes) as a side effect. In this case, please stop using Olynth Salin Drops.

How should you use Olynth Salin Drops?
Olynth Salin Drops are intended for use in the nose (nasal use). Tilt your head back slightly for use. To prevent nasal secretions from being sucked in, do not release the rubber stopper until the pipette has been removed from the nose. Wipe the pipette after each use.

How often and for how long can you use Olynth Salin Drops?
Use Olynth Salin Drops several times a day as needed. Fill the pipette with Olynth Salin Drops and instill the contents of one pipette into each nostril. The duration of use of Olynth Salin Drops is not limited. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 14 days, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

How should you store Olynth Salin Drops?
Keep Olynth Salin Drops out of reach of children. Do not use Olynth Salin Drops after the expiry date printed on the folding box and bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Do not store above 25°C. After opening, you should not use Olynth Salin Drops for longer than 12 weeks.
