At least 2 - 3 times daily.

Usability

Each medical balloon (latex membrane) should be inflated a maximum of 20 times, after which the elasticity required for pressure equalization is no longer guaranteed.

How to use Otovent

Place the opening of the medical balloon (latex membrane) over the flat end of the nasal piece. Gently press the round end of the nasal piece against the right nostril and hold the left nostril closed at the same time. Inhale deeply through your mouth, close your mouth and inflate the medical balloon by exhaling through your nose to about the size of a grapefruit (diameter approx. 10 - 12 cm). Repeat this process with the left nostril. Inflating the balloon should cause a noticeable change in pressure in the ear or a "click" in the ear. If this is not the case, repeat the entire process (see above) and additionally bend your head slightly forward and turn your head slightly to the right. Try to swallow when the balloon is inflated. Then repeat the entire process with the left nostril.
