Ingredients

The individual ingredients in Gepan Mannose Gel with the mannose-hydro complex are perfectly coordinated and thus meet the requirements for optimal protection and care of the intimate area. Xylitol, mannose and hyaluronic acid form the ideal combination of moisturizing and nourishing substances in the hydrogel. Mannose also protects against the attachment of harmful bacteria to the mucous membranes. Pentylene glycol and caprylyl glycol have both a moisturizing and a preserving, antimicrobial effect. Lactic acid, as part of the skin's natural moisturizing factor, complements the skin-caring effect and stabilizes the pH value in the natural range. To explain: the pH value of the vagina is subject to natural, constant fluctuations. These can weaken the protection of the skin in this area. Germs can thus find their way and cause skin irritation or even inflammation. Gepan Mannose Gel supports with its nourishing and protective properties exactly here. It is therefore a multifunctional combination, without additives such as parabens and other stabilizers. The skin of the intimate area can thus optimally fulfill its tasks.

How Gepan Mannose Gel supports the natural skin barrier

Gepan Mannose Gel with its mannose-hydro complex was specially developed for use in the external intimate area. If the skin is already irritated, Gepan Mannose Gel can help the sensitive skin to calm down/recover quickly. The optimal composition of moisturizing and skin-caring ingredients in Gepan Mannose Gel forms a protective, gel-like film. Mannose and hyaluronic acid provide moisture to maintain the natural skin barrier. Mannose also helps to prevent pathogenic intestinal germs such as E. coli bacteria from attaching to the external intimate area. In addition, the selected combination of ingredients ensures a balanced pH value, so that the multiplication and colonization of harmful germs is additionally hindered. Supported in this way, the stressed/irritated skin can recover and fulfill its protective function.

Increased care requirements of a weakened skin barrier

Various influences can particularly weaken the natural skin barrier and the bacterial flora in the external intimate area. These are often:

How Gepan Mannose Gel is applied

Wash your hands thoroughly before applying. Priming is required before first use. Gepan Mannose Gel is then applied as follows

1. Clean yourself and your hands after using the toilet as usual.
2. Intimate care can be carried out in the entire area. To do this, please start at the front to prevent germs from spreading from the anal area. To do this, take a pump of Gepan Mannose Gel on your index finger and spread it over the entire intimate area (vulva, perineum, anal area).
3. Wash your hands thoroughly. Gepan Mannose Gel can be easily rinsed off your fingers with water.

The frequency and duration of use can vary. Basically, Gepan Mannose Gel should be applied several times a day after urination and after sexual activity, in case of skin changes/irritations and before and after extreme mechanical stress or sports activities. One pump from the dispenser corresponds to approx. 0.5 ml Gepan Mannose Gel.

Notes

The tear resistance of latex condoms has been tested with Gepan Mannose Gel and is not impaired. Please note that a slight burning sensation may occur temporarily after application. To protect sensitive clothing, use a panty liner if necessary.
