Homeopathic medicine for digestive disorders

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug profiles. These include: Improvement of symptoms in liver and bile disorders. Drug therapy for liver diseases does not replace the avoidance of causes that damage the liver (e.g. alcohol) and should not be taken without medical advice. In case of persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms, as well as in case of gallstone disease, obstruction of the bile ducts and jaundice, a doctor should be consulted, as these may be diseases that require medical clarification.

Contraindications

When should you not take Hepar Hevert Liver Tablets?
Hepar Hevert Liver Tablets should not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to milk thistle, dandelion or other members of the daisy family. See also Precautions for use.

Precautions for use

Children

There is insufficient documented experience with the use of the drug in children. It should therefore only be used in children under 12 years of age after consultation with a doctor experienced in homeopathy, taking into account the homeopathic drug profiles of the individual components.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

As there is insufficient documented experience, the drug should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consultation with a doctor.

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

Interactions with other drugs

None known. General note: As with all medicines, the effect can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods. This applies in particular to homeopathic medicines. If you are taking any other medicines, seek medical advice.

Important information about certain other ingredients

This medicine contains lactose. Therefore, please only take the medicine after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Dosage, type and duration of use

Unless otherwise prescribed, the following applies to adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: In acute conditions, frequent use every half to whole hour, maximum 6 times daily, dissolve 1 tablet in the mouth. Use for more than 1 week should only be after consultation with a doctor experienced in homeopathy. In chronic conditions, dissolve 1 tablet in the mouth 1-3 times daily. When symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced. The dosage for children is according to the instructions of the homeopathic doctor.

Duration of use

Even homeopathic medicines should not be used for long periods of time without medical advice.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions, such as skin rash or shortness of breath, may occur. Note: When using a homeopathic medicine, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, you should stop taking the medicine and seek medical advice.

Notes on shelf life and storage

The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the container and outer carton. Do not store above 25°C! Always keep medicines out of the reach of children!

Composition

1 tablet contains the following active ingredients: Carduus marianus Trit. D2 50 mg, Chelidonium Trit. D6 25 mg, Leptandra Trit. D3 50 mg, Natrium sulfuricum Trit. D3 50 mg, Taraxacum Trit. D3 75 mg. Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), corn starch.

Dosage form and pack sizes
40 and 100 tablets for oral administration.
