Product features
Blepha Cura - liposomal suspension
Ingredients
Soya lecithin, vitamin A - palmitate, vitamin E, ethanol, sodium chloride, phenoxyethanol, purified water.Areas of application
BlephaCura is used to relieve and treat blepharitis as well as for daily eyelid care and hygiene. BlephaCura supports and promotes the natural healing process in the event of inflammation and irritation of the eyelid margins.Dosage, type and duration of application
It is recommended to use BlephaCura twice a day, in the morning and evening. BlephaCura should be applied using lint-free (cotton) pads suitable for eyelid care. To avoid contamination, no surface should be touched with the dropper, especially not the cotton pad. Please drop BlephaCura onto the cotton pad from a short distance. As part of daily eyelid care and hygiene with BlephaCura, all crusts and deposits should be thoroughly removed. It is recommended to carry out the application with previously cleaned hands.Tips for correct application:
- Moisten a cotton pad with BlephaCura.
- Now moisten the eyelids, especially the eyelid margins and base of the eyelashes, with the soaked cotton pad and gently massage the eyelid margin along the upper and lower eyelid edge.
- Carefully remove any crusts and deposits. To treat the eyelid margins, it is advisable to gently pull the lower eyelid downwards with a finger of the free hand or the upper eyelid gently upwards so that the eyelid margin can be reached properly. Replace the used cotton pad with a fresh one if necessary.
Contraindications
BlephaCura should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.Notes
In the event of injuries, infections and/or after surgical interventions on the eye or eyelid, medical advice should be sought before use.Blepharitis is usually a chronic condition, the treatment and course of which can be associated with unpleasant setbacks and recurrences and therefore requires careful, daily care. BlephaCura suspension is also suitable for contact lens wearers. It is advisable to insert the contact lens only after application. If necessary, it can be helpful to apply warm compresses (approx. 45° C) to the closed eyelids for 4 - 10 minutes before using BlephaCura so that any existing sebum plugs and secretions on the eyelid margins can be liquefied and then easily removed.
