ODM 5 Hyperosmotic eye drops without preservativesDosage form
10 ml multi-dose bottle without preservatives.Composition
5% sodium chloride, 0.15% hyaluronic acid. Other ingredients: Purified water, tri-sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. ODM 5 contains hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the eye, which contributes to the protection of the cornea through its lubricating properties. What is ODM 5 used for?
ODM 5 is recommended to reduce corneal oedema: oedema caused by corneal dystrophies, post-traumatic oedema or post-operative oedema. Corneal oedema is characterised by an excess of fluid in the cornea. The hypertonic solution ODM 5 draws this excess fluid out of the cornea by an osmotic effect, so that it is temporarily rehydrated normally. ODM 5 thus contributes to an improvement in your vision quality.
