Sambucus comp., Globuli velati

Composition

10 g Globuli velati contain: Sambucus nigra e medulla ferm 35a Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 35a), Sambucus nigra ex umbella ferm 33c Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c), Terebinthina laricina Dil. D4 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 6). Contains sucrose (saccharose/sugar) and lactose.

Contraindications

None known.

Precautions for use and warnings

This medicine contains sucrose and lactose. Please only take Sambucus comp. after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed

• Children under 6 years 1– to 3–times daily up to every two hours 3 – 5 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.
• Children from 6 to under 12 years 1– to 3–times daily up to every two hours 5 – 7 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.
• Adults and children from 12 years 1– to 3–times daily up to every two hours 5 – 10 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.

Duration of use

The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within this time, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment of chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.
