Contraindications

When should you not take Calmvalera drops?
Calmvalera drops must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to lady's slipper plants and platinum compounds. See also Precautions for use.

Precautions for use

If symptoms persist, are unclear or reappear, a doctor should be consulted, as these may be conditions that require medical clarification.

Children

Only give Calmvalera drops to children under 12 years of age after consulting a doctor, as there is not yet sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

As there is insufficient documented experience, the medicine should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor.

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

Interactions with other medicines

None known. General note: As with all medicines, the effect can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods. This applies in particular to homeopathic medicines. If you are taking any other medicines, seek medical advice.

Contains 48% vol. alcohol.

Dosage, type and duration of use

Unless otherwise prescribed, 40 drops are taken 3 times a day initially, possibly with a little liquid. Higher doses are also possible depending on the severity of the case, for example up to 40 drops every hour at the start of therapy. Later, depending on the onset of action, the dosage is reduced. For long-term treatment, 20 - 25 drops 3 times a day are generally sufficient. The dosage for children is according to the instructions of the homeopathic doctor. It is recommended to use the medicine diluted with water in children. A particularly rapid effect is achieved by leaving Calmvalera drops in the mouth for 1/2 to 1 minute, which ensures optimal absorption through the oral mucosa.

Duration of use

Even homeopathic medicines should not be used for long periods of time without medical advice.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions, e.g. skin reactions, and gastrointestinal complaints, e.g. nausea, may occur. The medicine should then be discontinued. Note: When using a homeopathic medicine, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, you should stop taking the medicine and seek medical advice.

Notes on shelf life and storage

The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the container and outer carton. Do not store above 25°C! Always keep medicines out of the reach of children!

10 g contain the following active ingredients: Cimicifuga Dil. D2 0.48 g, Cocculus Dil. D4 0.95 g, Cypripedium pubescens Dil. D3 0.48 g, Ignatia Dil. D6 1.01 g, Lilium tigrinum Dil. D4 1.01 g, Passiflora incarnata Dil. D3 1.92 g, Platinum metallicum Dil. D8 0.52 g, Valeriana Dil. D2 0.48 g, Zincum valerianicum Dil. D3 0.43 g. Other ingredient: Purified water. 10 ml correspond to 9.32 g.

Pharmaceutical form and pack sizes

30 ml, 100 ml and 200 ml (2 x 100 ml) mixture for oral use.
