Dandelion is a herbal medicine for digestive problems. This herbal tea is used for disorders of the bile flow with digestive problems such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness as well as loss of appetite. Note: If symptoms persist for more than a week or recur periodically, a doctor should be consulted.
2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE?
This medicine must not be used:
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to dandelion,
- in case of obstruction of the bile ducts,
- intestinal obstruction and
- gallbladder inflammation.
Special care must be taken when using this medicine if the symptoms described in section 1 worsen. In this case, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Tea infusions should always be prepared with boiling water. Preparing tea with warm water is not sufficient.
Children
There is no evidence of risks from the widespread use of dandelion as a medicine or in food. However, there are no adequate studies on the use of dandelion in children under 12 years of age. Drinking tea infusions made from dandelion is therefore not recommended for this group of people.When using this medicine with other medicines

Dosage and type of application
Unless otherwise prescribed, half a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 2 to 3 times a day to stimulate appetite half an hour before meals, otherwise after meals: 1 tablespoon (approx. 2.5 g) of dandelion is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes passed through a tea strainer.Duration of use
If symptoms persist for more than 1 week or recur periodically, a doctor should be consulted.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Dandelion is too strong or too weak.
If you have used more of the medicine than you should
