Patients with a pathological tendency to bleed (haemorrhagic diathesis) and concomitant use of anticoagulants (e.g. phenprocoumon) and drugs that inhibit platelet aggregation (thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors, e.g. ASA) should only use Ginkgo Syxyl Tablets after consulting a doctor. Caution is advised when taking Ginkgo biloba with warfarin, dabigatran or nifedipine (increased concentration of the active substance in the blood). The concomitant use of Ginkgo biloba preparations and efavirenz is not recommended (decreased concentration of efavirenz in the blood).
