Grintuss is a product based on honey and molecular complexes, which has a protective and therefore soothing effect on the upper respiratory tract. In case of dry cough, it combats irritation of the mucous membrane and in case of productive cough, it promotes the moistening and drainage of mucus. Grintuss is a gluten-free product made from organically grown ingredients with a pleasant taste.

Fields of application

Grintuss Adult Cough Syrup is suitable for the treatment of dry and productive coughs in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

Mode of action

Grintuss protects the mucous membrane by soothing irritation, moistens the mucus and promotes its drainage through the following mechanisms of action:

• Barrier function: Forms a protective film that adheres to the mucous membrane and protects against contact with irritants;
• Mucus-regulating effect: Promotes the moistening of the mucus and facilitates its drainage;
• Lubricating effect: Reduces friction in the throat, which triggers coughing.

Grintuss alleviates the cough without suppressing it and thus respects the important role it plays in the defence of the upper respiratory tract.

Instructions for use

It is recommended to take 10 ml (2 measuring spoons) two to four times a day, with the last dose being taken before bedtime. Shake before use. With measuring spoon. Close the bottle carefully after use and clean the measuring spoon thoroughly with water. Use within three months after opening.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients. If symptoms do not improve, consult a doctor. Store at room temperature and protect from heat and light. Also contains: Cane sugar*; water; essential oils from: eucalyptus, star anise, lemon; natural lemon flavour; gum arabic; xanthan.
