Dear patient,
Please read the entire package leaflet carefully before you start taking this medicine, as it contains important information for you. This medicine is also available without a doctor's prescription. However, in order to achieve the best possible treatment success, Bryophyllum 50% must be used as prescribed.

1. WHAT IS BRYOPHYLLUM 50% AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Bryophyllum 50% is an anthroposophic medicine.

Areas of application
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include: Susceptibility to special forms of functional disorders and recurrent inflammations in the area of the metabolic system; Painful conditions in the case of weakened vitality; Restlessness and exceptional mental states and sleep disorders caused by these.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING BRYOPHYLLUM 50%?

Bryophyllum 50% must not be used,
if you are hypersensitive to Bryophyllum (Kalanchoe).

Precautions for use
If you have persistent or unclear symptoms, you must consult a doctor.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Like all medicines, Bryophyllum 50% should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
None known
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Important information about certain ingredients of Bryophyllum 50%
This medicine contains lactose. Therefore, please only take it after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

3. HOW SHOULD BRYOPHYLLUM 50% BE TAKEN?

Always take Bryophyllum 50% exactly as described in this package leaflet.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is

Take 2 knife tips of powder 3 times a day.
Infants in the 1st year of life receive 1 knife tip of powder dissolved in tea 3 times a day.

Duration of use
The treatment of the disease should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

If you forget to take Bryophyllum 50%

Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how to use this medicine.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Bryophyllum 50% can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely. The medicine must then be discontinued and a doctor consulted. [The frequency "very rare" means: Isolated cases or at most 1 in 10000 treated persons.]

If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. 5. WHAT ELSE IS IMPORTANT?

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and the folding box.

10g of powder for oral administration contain:
Active ingredient: 5 g pressed juice from Kalanchoe pinnata, Folium.

Other ingredient:
Lactose monohydrate.
