Niederegger – The Beginnings
The family business was founded in 1806 by master confectioner Johann Georg Niederegger in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. He gave the company its name and created the recipe for the Niederegger marzipan renowned to this day. Only the most precious almonds make it into the raw marzipan paste, which we produce ourselves as the only premium manufacturer.
