This special feature is grown in Germany and harvested young. You can recognize it by the long green leaves and above all by the reddish skin that does not need to be peeled!
The taste is wonderfully fresh and fruity with a sweet and spicy note. Before the ginger is processed, the leaves should be removed in order to then use the entire tuber. This "Bavarian tuber" is used above all as a "spice" for Asian dishes, but also as a tea or as an ingredient in a curry!
