The duck breast is then carefully and slowly cold smoked over beechwood for 24 hours, giving it a specific flavour that is highly prized by gourmets.

About the manufacturer:
The "Maison Feyel" was founded by Frédéric Feyel in 1811. He made the manufactory known beyond the borders of Alsace. The traditional recipes were enjoyed on the tables of the greatest imperial courts of Europe. In 1861, Emperor Napoleon III appointed Maison Feyel as the official purveyor to the court. Even today, Maison Feyel preserves the original secret of its recipes.
