The daily portion consists of 2 different capsules. Take capsule 1 and capsule 2 once a day with a meal (e.g. breakfast or lunch) with sufficient liquid without chewing. It is recommended to take these capsules for a longer period of time to ensure an adequate supply of nutrients. Not suitable for children and adolescents.

Capsule 1

Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Only via the tear film can the cornea be supplied with vitamin A. In addition, vitamin A supports the maintenance of the mucous membranes, including the conjunctiva of the eye. The trace element zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Zinc contributes to a normal vitamin A metabolism. The omega-3 fatty acid DHA is found in the visual cells of the retina and also plays a role in the maintenance of normal vision. This positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA. In order to be able to break down free radicals, the body has its own antioxidant protection system. Since free radicals can arise as a result of sunlight, among other things, the protective system of the cells is particularly challenged. The trace elements zinc and selenium as well as vitamins C+E help to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C is a component of the tear film. Capsule 1 also contains the plant substances lutein and zeaxanthin. These "carotenoids" are mainly found in plant foods (e.g. green vegetables). The so-called "yellow spot" of the retina contains a high concentration of lutein and zeaxanthin and is located in the middle of the back of the eye.

Capsule 2

Capsule 2 contains a lipid combination of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil with the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid from borage oil as well as the water-soluble vitamin B2 and the fat-soluble vitamin D. Vitamin D has a function in cell division. Vitamin B2 contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and, like vitamin A, supports the maintenance of the mucous membranes.

The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children.
