Berlin Blood Sausage in a Jar


The blood sausage is our most important product. We produce it fresh every day. Our classic is the so-called black blood sausage, without bacon pieces. The French call it "boudin noir". For us it is the "Berlin blood sausage".
In addition to pig's blood, which comes fresh from the slaughter, we use lean pork shoulder, hearty back fat and fresh onions for the production. And of course our secret spice mixture. Only so much be revealed: Real Thuringian marjoram, hand-crushed Brazilian pepper and a little cinnamon... We fill the blood sausage in a classic way into a beef casing.

We are famous all over Europe for our black blood sausage.
We produce it in our small craft business only from the best ingredients and with a secret spice mixture. In the middle of the old, historical part of Berlin-Neukölln-Rixdorf, our butcher's shop has been producing sausage specialities in the traditional way for over a hundred years.
Since 1996, master butcher Marcus Benser has been the guarantor for the quality of our products. In 2004, the French "Confrérie des Chevaliers du Goûte-Boudin" knighted Marcus Benser for his outstanding achievements as "Knight of the Blood Sausage". An honour that was also bestowed on Paul Bocuse, among others.
