Ingredients
- 4 Pretzels
- 100g Jay & Joy Jean-Jacques Organic Vegan Soft Cheese
- 250g vegan butter
- 2 tsp paprika powder
- 40g red onion
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 2 tsp caraway
Preparation
- 1It's best to let the margarine soften a bit at room temperature some time in advance.
- 2Bake the pretzels fresh in the oven according to package instructions.
- 3For the Obazda, put the soft margarine into a bowl. Unpack the vegan aged “Jean-Jacques” and add it to the margarine. Also add paprika powder and caraway, then 'mash' everything together with a fork, meaning mix well.
- 4Finely dice the red onion and mix it in as well.
- 5Season finally with enough salt and pepper.
- 6For serving, sprinkle some paprika powder over it and decorate with fresh onion rings as desired.
- 7Enjoy together with the fresh pretzels!
Tip
The vegan Obazda tastes even better if it has had a day to steep in the refrigerator.
