Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 45 g walnuts
- 50 g cashew nuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 Quetschie of your choice (e.g., Freche Freunde Quetschie Apple, Mango & Peach)
- 195 g whole wheat flour
- 1 packet baking powder
Preparation
- 1Preheat the oven to 170 °C (top/bottom heat) and line a loaf pan with baking paper.
- 2Mash the bananas with a fork.
- 3Stir in the eggs and Quetschie until a smooth mixture forms.
- 4Mix flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and add to the banana mixture.
- 5Roughly chop walnuts and cashews and fold them in.
- 6Pour the dough into the pan and bake for approx. 45–50 minutes – don't forget the skewer test!
- 7Seasonal Tip: In autumn: Goes great with apple slices with a little cinnamon and/or a warm fruit tea. In summer: Serve with a dollop of yogurt or quark and fresh berries – wonderfully refreshing!
- 8Cheeky Extra Tip: Even little kitchen helpers can join in mashing bananas or sprinkling nuts. For even more fruit: Simply crumble Freche Freunde strawberry chips coarsely and sprinkle over the dough before it goes into the oven.
