Andechser Molkerei Scheitz GmbH – "Natural Products Naturally Preserved"

For nearly 115 years, we have been a family business, and for over 40 years, we have been considered an eco-pioneer throughout Germany. For nearly 15 years, we have been a 100% organic dairy. Our ANDECHSER NATUR organic products are produced – true to the credo "Naturally Preserved" – exclusively from the best raw materials, without artificial additives, without flavors, and without genetically modified substances. We process approximately 135 million kg of cow's milk and about 10.5 million kg of goat's milk annually. The valuable organic milk is supplied by a total of 665 association-certified organic milk suppliers within a radius of 160 km, with whom we work in a trusting "partnership at eye level."

Building on this, the “KlimaBauer Initiative” was launched in 2021: a pioneering pilot project for climate protection in agriculture that contributes to regional CO2 compensation. One of the essential measures is the development of humus. This creates fertile soil, which also offers valuable potential for additional CO2 binding. The more humus, the more carbon binding in the soil.
