Many of our Italian products are marked with the DOP seal. What does that mean? DOP stands for Denominazione di origine protetta and corresponds to the German protected designation of origin. DOP marks agricultural products and other foods from the European Union whose production follows a specific practice limited to a geographical region.

The company BioOrto was founded by Nino Passalacqua in 2003 and remains family-owned to this day. Located directly at the Gargano National Park on the east coast of Italy, the company operates large-scale organic farming.

The family business Caseificio Olanda Riccardo, founded by Michele and Carmela Olanda, has existed since 1988. Together with their two sons Savino and Riccardo and some dedicated employees, they lovingly handcraft delicious Burrata and Mozzarella in their cheese factory in Andria.

The pasta manufacturer Morelli is a family business in its fifth generation and was founded in 1860. Morelli manages to produce pasta with an extraordinary and unparalleled taste, whose aroma fills the entire kitchen while cooking.
