Menstrual products are essential, yet simply too expensive for many people.
That's why we advocate for more social justice in hygiene products: In recent months, we have already offered free period products at our locations in the Rhine-Main area and Munich. The great response and positive feedback have encouraged us to continue this initiative in Berlin.
From now on, the pads and tampons listed below can also be added to the cart for free in Berlin.
Why is this campaign so important?
- A study shows: 23% of menstruating individuals cannot afford period products. 10% change them too infrequently due to cost reasons.
- In Berlin there are issues: Menstrual products are only available for free in a few public facilities.
- Other countries do it better: Scotland already has a law that mandates free menstrual products in educational and public facilities.
