Organic Olive Oil from Peranzana Olives

This organic olive oil from the Foggia region has an exceptional balance between bitter and spicy. The mild fruity note and the low acidity make this extra virgin olive oil one of the most highly prized varieties. 

The aromatic extra virgin olive oil is ideal for cold use, for example with grilled vegetables, in tomato dishes, risottos, fresh cheese and vegetable marinades. Enjoy this emerald green liquid gold!

When stored below 6°C, olive oil flakes out.

At room temperature, it becomes clear again without loss of quality.

In order to obtain the best possible quality olive oil from the fruits of the centuries-old olive trees, production at Bio Orto is strictly controlled at every stage. The olives are only harvested when they are perfectly ripe. They are then pressed within 6-8 hours of harvesting using a highly automated pressing and mixing system at a controlled, constant temperature of 27°C. The resulting extra virgin olive oil is then stored in stainless steel silos until it is bottled and packaged.

The company BioOrto was founded in 2003 by Nino Passalacqua and is still family-owned today. At the foot of the Gargano National Park on the east coast of Italy, the company operates large-scale organic farming.
