Protefix Wound and Protective Gel

No plaster has yet been invented for the oral cavity. That's why we find aphthae, irritated pressure points under dentures and braces or inflammation of the oral mucosa so annoying - especially when eating and drinking. Protefix Wound and Protective Gel with the patented active ingredient TGO provides gentle help in a unique way. This is obtained from special vegetable oils in a special process and has the following active principle:

• It forms a protective shield that adheres even to the moist oral mucosa.
• This protects the wound from chemical irritants and the mechanical pressure of the prosthesis or brace.
• The pain can be relieved and the wound healing can be promoted.
• Getting used to a new prosthesis or brace can be made easier.

Protefix Wound and Protective Gel does not contain any alcohol. Protefix Wound and Protective Gel has an anti-inflammatory effect, promotes the renewal of affected cell tissue and improves the natural healing process. The resistance of the oral mucosa is supported.

Composition

Glycerol oxytriester (TGO), silicon dioxide, sodium saccharin, aroma.

Application

Rinse your mouth, if necessary clean from denture adhesive residues. Apply a pea-sized amount of Protefix Wound and Protective Gel to a cotton swab or the clean fingertip about 3 - 4 times a day and apply to the affected areas, massaging in gently. Please make sure that the resulting protective film is distributed as evenly as possible so that it can have a lasting effect. Wait about 15 minutes before eating. Do not rinse your mouth immediately after use.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

Side effects

Protefix Wound and Protective Gel should be used for the specified area of application, but cannot replace medical advice. If the symptoms persist for more than five days or worsen (especially in the case of bleeding or infections), it is advisable to seek medical or dental advice. If a hypersensitivity reaction is suspected, the treatment should be discontinued as a precaution and a doctor should be consulted. With large-scale application, the effect of adhesives can be influenced at the treated areas.

Notes:

• Only use Protefix Wound and Protective Gel as described in the application description above.
• Close the tube carefully after use, keeping the opening clean and dry to prevent contamination.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
