The 2022 Solengo Toscana IGT from Argiano is an outstanding Super-Tuscan that combines Tuscan wine tradition with modern elegance. This cuvée consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, 20% Merlot and 5% Sangiovese. On the nose, it unfolds an intense bouquet of ripe plums, espresso and a hint of violets. On the palate, it presents itself with a lush texture that combines aromas of blackberry jam, dark chocolate and a subtle liquorice note. The velvety texture and the seamless integration of oak wood lead to a majestic, lingering finish that underlines Argiano's expertise. This wine goes perfectly with grilled meat, game dishes and mature cheese.

The Argiano winery, located in the picturesque Montalcino region of Tuscany, looks back on a long tradition of winemaking. Since its foundation in 1580, Argiano has made a name for itself for excellent wines that reflect the terroir and diversity of the region. With the Solengo, the winery produced the first Super-Tuscan from Montalcino, originally created by the legendary oenologist Giacomo Tachis.
