1. WHAT IS GRANU FINK PROSTA PLUS SABAL AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal is a traditional herbal medicinal product.

Indications

Traditionally used to strengthen or invigorate bladder function, e.g. in case of bladder weakness, for facilitating bladder emptying and for maintaining normal bladder function after serious illnesses have been ruled out by a doctor. Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal is a traditional medicinal product that is registered for the field of application exclusively based on long-standing use.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING GRANU FINK PROSTA PLUS SABAL?

The user should consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional if symptoms persist or if side effects occur other than those mentioned in the package leaflet. Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to pumpkin seeds, cucurbit plants such as watermelon, zucchini, etc. and saw palmetto fruit or any of the other ingredients of Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal.

Special care must be taken when taking Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal

If symptoms worsen during the use of Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal, or if fever, cramps, bloody urine, pain during urination or urinary retention occur, you should consult a doctor.

When taking Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal with other medicines

There have been some suspected cases of interactions with warfarin. Increased INR values have been described. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

When taking Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal with food and drink

No interactions are known.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

Not relevant. There is no data on fertility.

Children and adolescents

The use of the medicinal product in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not intended. There are no sufficient studies for children and adolescents.

Driving and using machines

This medicinal product contains lactose. Please only take Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

3. HOW TO TAKE GRANU FINK PROSTA PLUS SABAL?

Always take Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is

Adult males and senior citizens take 1 hard capsule 3 times a day. Use in women is not intended.

Method of administration

Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal should be taken with sufficient liquid, preferably before meals.

Duration of use

Long-term use is possible. However, please observe the notes in section 2. If symptoms persist during the use of Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal, a doctor should be consulted. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal is too strong or too weak.

Do not take double the dose, but continue taking it as described in this package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Gastrointestinal disorders

Occasionally (>1/1,000, <1/100) the following may occur: nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain (especially when taken on an empty stomach).

Immune system disorders

Allergic or hypersensitivity reactions may occur. The frequency based on the available data cannot be estimated/is not known.

Nervous system disorders

Headaches may occur. The frequency based on the available data cannot be estimated/is not known.

5. HOW TO STORE GRANU FINK PROSTA PLUS SABAL?

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the folding box or blister pack after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. Storage conditions: Do not store above 25°C.

What Granu Fink Prosta plus Sabal contains

Active ingredients: 1 hard capsule contains: crushed pumpkin seeds 400.0 mg, pumpkin seed oil 340.0 mg, saw palmetto fruit - dry extract (7-13:1), extraction agent ethanol 90% (m/m) 75.0 mg. The other ingredients are: highly dispersed silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, gelatine, purified water, colorants: iron(II,III) oxide (E 172), iron(III) hydroxide oxide x H20 (E172), iron(III) oxide (E172).
