Description

Hylo-Vision Gel multi is a sterile isotonic wetting agent with sodium hyaluronate for moisturising and restoring a physiological tear film. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that occurs naturally in the human body and is an essential component of numerous tissues. It has the ability to form a protective film on the surface of the eye, thus protecting, moisturising and wetting it. Due to its excellent binding capacity to the mucous membranes, it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and thus stabilises the tear film. Polyhexanide, which is contained in Hylo-Vision Gel multi, is a gentle preservative that, thanks to its antimicrobial properties, is very effective in protecting against contamination of the drop solution and is at the same time very well tolerated.

Application

Highly viscous wetting solution for long-lasting protection of the cornea transparent sterile and viscoelastic. Hylo-Vision Gel multi protects, moisturises and makes the surface of the eye supple and thus ensures long-lasting relief from discomfort, such as

• mechanical stress, such as during and after the use of contact lenses, after operations or diagnostic procedures on the eye
• environmental irritants, such as air-conditioned rooms, cold wind, dry or polluted air, cigarette smoke
• visual stress, such as prolonged screen work, work at a microscope, driving
• lack of wetting of the anterior eye area (cornea-conjunctival).

Dosage

Instil one to two drops into the conjunctival sac. Apply two to three times a day or as recommended by your doctor. Hylo-Vision Gel multi can also be used while wearing contact lenses.

Composition (1 ml)

3 mg sodium hyaluronate, 0.001 mg polyhexanide, 1 mg disodium edetate (EDTA), buffered isotonic solution (pH 7.2), purified water.

Notes

Hylo-Vision Gel multi should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or other chemically related substances. The preparation is sterile until the bottle is opened and should be used for a maximum of 90 days after first opening

Close the bottle carefully after use and make sure that

• the dropper does not come into contact with other objects to protect it from contamination,
• the tip of the dropper does not come into contact with the eye.

The preparation must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton. The preparation must not be stored above 25°C and near sources of heat. Do not use the bottle if it is damaged. Hylo-Vision Gel multi is for external use on the eye only and is not for oral ingestion. Please consult your ophthalmologist or doctor before combining Hylo-Vision Gel multi with other eye preparations. Keep out of reach of children. In rare cases, a slight and temporary burning and/or temporary blurring of vision have been observed; in the event of undesirable effects, discontinue use of the preparation and consult a doctor.
