Even a little water in the ear canal can be annoying after a pleasant stay in the water! It gets even worse if a small drop of water on the eardrum causes impaired hearing or even triggers disturbing noises. The earplugs made of four soft, deformable lamellae from Sanohra swim reliably seal the ear canal, as their special shape "anchors" them in the ear canal. Application
Please insert Sanohra swim earplugs as recommended before bathing, swimming, or showering. Children should only insert the hearing protection into their ears under the guidance and supervision of adults. If a tympanostomy tube has been inserted to treat an ear infection, the treating physician usually advises against bathing or swimming, as water could enter the middle ear through the tube. This recommendation should be strictly followed! In less severe cases of the condition, bathing and swimming may be possible if an earplug is used. When romping around in the water and jumping into the water, any earplug can be lost! Therefore, this should definitely be avoided for children with tympanostomy tubes. Earplugs are generally not suitable for diving at greater depths. From a water depth of one meter, the increasing water pressure would press the hearing protection further and further into the ear canal. Sanohra swim earplugs are reusable! After use, carefully rinse off salt or chlorinated pool water with clear water and let them dry. The hearing protection also tolerates mild cleaning agents. Before re-use, it should be checked whether the lamellae have remained undamaged (no tears).
