The Story

At Bäckerei Exner, the knowledge of good bread and rolls has been passed down from generation to generation.

Owner Tobias Exner remembers: “I fondly recall the many hours I spent in the bakery as a child and teenager. I remember my father Ingo's enthusiasm when he took the most beautiful loaves of bread out of the oven.”

The story dates back to 1928. In that year, a small bakery was built at Karl-Marx-Str. 12, in Beelitz. The Exner family leased and later bought it. Master baker Ingo Exner was thus able to fulfill his dream of independence in 1976.

Today, the family bakery is a modern medium-sized company, multi-award-winning and one of the largest employers in the beautiful asparagus town of Beelitz.
