These fine, mainly firm-cooking early Drillinge potatoes from Spain come in a practical 1 kg net. The small, aromatic potatoes impress with their particularly tender skin and a delicate, nutty flavor. Since they do not need to be peeled, they are quickly prepared as roasted oven potatoes, tossed in butter, or used in a fresh potato salad.

Potatoes from Frankenmoor

The Kartoffelhof Richters has been family-owned since 1955. They have years of experience in growing and harvesting potatoes. Since 2016, the farm has been run by Andreas Richters. Their focus is on potatoes. In Frankenmoor, the potatoes are stored, packaged and marketed after harvesting. The Kartoffelhof Richters supplies high-quality potatoes all year round and has multi-zone storage. They can store 3,000 t of potatoes in a fresh climate storage and 3,000 t in a cold storage. Before the potatoes leave the farm, they are sorted by sorters and then packed in various forms.
Drillings are not a variety, but a size designation. Potatoes that are only 2.5 - 4 cm in size are sold as drillings. The name probably comes from the fact that three drillings are as big as a normal sized potato. Others suspect that the name comes from the Dutch "drol", which means something like a toddler.
