Marks & Spencer Frozen Icelandic cod fillets (Gadus morhua) with ice glaze

Best before end: see packaging. Weight: see packaging. Packed in Iceland with cod caught by trawl or line in the North East Atlantic (Icelandic waters).

Cooking instructions: Cook from frozen. Remove all packaging. Place in an ovenproof dish. Add 45ml water and dot with butter. Season with salt and pepper. Cover. Cook for 30 minutes at 190°C, fan 170°C, gas 5. Do not recook. Or place in a pan, cover with milk or water and simmer for 10 minutes. Preheat grill to medium. Place contents on a buttered foil. Brush with butter. Season with salt and pepper. Grill for 16 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. Or remove all packaging, place in a microwaveable container. Cook on full power 750W for 6 minutes 30 seconds or 900W for 6 minutes. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Do not reheat. Fish fillets vary in thickness, thicker fillets will take longer to cook. Cooking instructions are for 2 fillets, cooking more than 2 fillets may require a longer cooking time. Consume on day of purchase if not frozen. Keep frozen at -18°C. Do not refreeze.
