Preparation recommendation:

Preparation in a saucepan

1. Simply add the desired amount of unthawed red cabbage with apples to a saucepan.
2. Bring the vegetables to the boil, covered, over a medium heat and continue to simmer for 2 minutes. Stir several times during this process.

Preparation in the microwave

1. Simply add the desired amount of unthawed red cabbage with apples to a microwave-safe bowl.
2. Heat the vegetables in the microwave at 600 watts, covered, for the specified time and bring to the boil briefly. Stir several times during this process.
