Retterspitz Muscle Cream

Sudden pain: Sometimes a wrong step is enough to sprain your ankle. Minor, blunt injuries simply happen. With Retterspitz Muscle Cream (formerly: Quick Muscle), the symptoms can be specifically reduced. Plant-based ingredients such as nutmeg and rosemary oil reduce swelling and inflammation. Menthol has a pleasant cooling effect. Thorough massaging supports the healing process.

Application:

• To treat discomfort in muscles, tendons and joints, massage in a five to ten centimetre long strip of cream three to six times a day until the cream has been absorbed by the skin and then wash your hands thoroughly.
• Retterspitz Muscle Cream is free of animal ingredients
• Tip: apply a compress with Retterspitz for external use beforehand.

What is Retterspitz Muscle Cream and what is it used for?
Retterspitz Muscle Cream is a cream with pure essential oils and plant extracts for physical support (massage) in the physiotherapeutic treatment of sports injuries of the muscle, tendon and joint system.

What should you consider before using Retterspitz Muscle Cream?
Note whether you are hypersensitive or allergic to any ingredient in Retterspitz Muscle Cream.

Special care when using Retterspitz Muscle Cream

Retterspitz Muscle Cream should not be rubbed into injured skin areas. It must not be brought into the eyes, therefore wash hands after rubbing in.

Infants and toddlers

Only give this medical device to children under two years of age after consulting a doctor, as there is not yet sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.

Elderly people

No restrictions for elderly people.

Pregnancy

There is no evidence that the use of Retterspitz Muscle Cream will disrupt the normal course of pregnancy or that it could harm the unborn child. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.

Breastfeeding

There is no evidence or knowledge that the use of Retterspitz Muscle Cream during breastfeeding will cause any problems.

Fitness to drive and operate machinery

No special precautions are required.

How to use Retterspitz Muscle Cream?

Dosage and type of application

Always use Retterspitz Muscle Cream exactly as described in this leaflet.
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply a 5 to 10 cm long strip of cream to the affected area of the body three to six times a day, depending on the size of the area, and massage it in with your hands until the cream has been completely absorbed by the skin. Keep the area warm after rubbing in. The effectiveness of the rubbing in is supported if it is carried out after a compress, after removing the compress cloths and patting the skin dry. The compress treatment loosens the skin layers and afterwards the skin's ability to absorb the rubbing cream is particularly good. After rubbing in, wash your hands with soap to avoid accidentally transferring cream residue to sensitive mucous membranes.

Interactions and side effects are not known. If side effects occur, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

How should Retterspitz Muscle Cream be stored?
Keep Retterspitz Muscle Cream out of reach of children. Do not use Retterspitz Muscle Cream after the expiry date stated on the container.

Note on opening

Keep the opened tube carefully closed at no more than +25°C. The opened tube should be used up within 12 weeks.

Storage conditions

Do not store above +25°C. No special further storage requirements.
