Rosso di Montalcino Toscana DOC

A Rosso bearing the signature of a Montalcino icon. Biondi-Santi Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2022 is made from 100% Sangiovese from the Tenuta Greppo estate in Tuscany and comes in at 14% vol. alcohol.

In the glass, it shines ruby red with violet reflections. Aromas of cherry and raspberry, complemented by delicate floral nuances and a precise, vibrant acidity. On the palate it is dry, elegant and well-balanced, with finely structured tannins and youthful freshness. After fermentation, the 2022 vintage matured for around 12 months in Slavonian oak casks—a classic ageing method that highlights the expression of the terroir. Biondi-Santi, closely tied to the history of Brunello since Ferruccio Biondi-Santi, stands for traditional vinification and wines with character.

Use

Ideal with braised dishes, mushroom dishes, pasta with ragù or aged cheese. Best served at 16–18 °C; when young, feel free to decant briefly.
